What is Family Medicine?

A general practitioner, also known as a GP, is a primary care doctor who provides basic medical care to patients of all ages. They diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, provide preventive care, manage chronic conditions, and refer patients to specialists when needed. GPs also offer health education and counseling to promote overall wellness.
